- Steven Pearlman, Ph.D., Content Director Steven has offered sexual assault defense programs at businesses and colleges for the last fifteen years. He developed and taught the country’s only full-credit college course devoted exclusively to sexual assault that blended the academic study of sexual assault (law, culture, history, etc.) with verbal de-escalation, psychological escape, and physical self-defense training. This puts Steven in a unique position to understand the relationship between the scholarship on sexual assault and the pragmatics of teaching students to become safer. steven.pearlman@studentsuccess.org
- Jackson Nickerson, Ph.D., Business Director Jackson is a Professor of Organization and Strategy at Washington University in St. Louis. A recipient of the State of Missouri’s Governors’ Award for Excellence in Teaching, Jackson teaches an introduction to management class to 200 first-semester freshmen annually and is a member of the university’s undergraduate council, which identifies and resolves undergraduate campus-wide issues. jackson.nickerson@studentsuccess.org

- Barbara Wells, Campus Programs Director Barbara comes to Student Success with a varied background in the law, marketing and sales, as well as a passionate interest in student safety issues.
